Lovers of homemade fresh cheese probably have a lot of whey. If the production of fermented dairy products is not your strong suit, then today this very modern healthy product can be bought ready-made, and even quickly frozen from good kefir. Then start a stormy cosmetic fantasy and start rejuvenating yourself, taking the following recipes as a starting point.
The serum itself is a real cosmetic storehouse of all types of nutrients that tones, nourishes and heals all skin types. In addition to lactic acid, there is a whole bunch of trace elements, beauty vitamins A and C and the famous vitamin B group. The serum also contains choline, which regulates the work of sebaceous glands, and is responsible for our young and flowering type of niacin.
Most often, whey remains after making homemade fresh cheese. If you are not a fan of such complex culinary delights, try to get this wonderful elixir of good fresh kefir. To do this, place the kefir package in the freezer, in the quick-freeze compartment. Wait for the kefir to harden completely, place it on a sieve lined with several layers of gauze and let the whey drain.
Be sure to smell the finished product and taste it gently. The serum should be refreshing and pleasantly sour. It should not be spoiled and pinched by the tongue.
If the serum is successful, then go ahead, to great cosmetic achievements, armed with imagination and means with UV filters, because no one has canceled the protection from the sun, or even acid.
Serum plus egg yolks - and wrinkles will certainly be good
- 1 egg yolk (if you do not like egg yolks, replace it with aloe vera gel without alcohol in the composition),
- 2-3 teaspoons of fresh whey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon rosehip oil (natural sunflower, soybean, evening primrose)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon argan oil (or any other oil, including good butter).
Rub the yolks and oils vigorously and whisk in a little whey.
Apply to damp skin (face, neck, décolleté, hands . . . ) for 20-30 minutes. Remove the residue with cotton pads soaked in serum, wait another 5-10 minutes and rinse with cold water.
Rejuvenation course: after 2-3 days within a month. UV protection is imperative.
Pea Milk Peeling Roll
Dilute the pea flour with the whey until it becomes a paste.
Pea flour can be replaced or mixed with chickpeas and / or oatmeal. If your skin needs more cleansing, add a little rye flour.
Apply to damp skin in a few steps, allow each layer to dry slightly.
Lightly moisten the fingertips with the serum and roll out the pea porridge along the massage lines.
Do it 1-2 times every 10-14 days, depending on the needs of your skin, and, again, do not forget about UV protection.
Urgent rejuvenation for special occasions
Mix a tablespoon of beaten egg whites with a teaspoon of whey and thicken the mask into a not very thick porridge with a mixture of wheat and oat flour.
Apply in a thin layer on the skin (face, neck, arms, shoulders, décolleté . . . ), leave to dry, but do not harden with the crust, and rinse with cold water.
Hydrate the skin with a light gel or any other product. Do not use too greasy and heavy products so as not to lose all the tightening effect.
The mask is considered very intense and is suitable as a one-time measure when it is necessary to quickly rejuvenate and tighten the skin. It is recommended to do this at most once in 10-14 days.
